Pretend City´s California State Content Standards Statement

Pretend City Children´s Museum is a fun, hands-on, minds-on interactive environment offering engaging, experiential learning experiences. We provide creative educational learning opportunities to young children to support their education in a unique way. Pretend City was designed to encourage our youngest thinkers to build better problem solving and critical thinking skills through pretend play. Our exhibits and programs provide numerous educational activities which are strategically aligned with best practices for early learners and the California State Content Standards which address the following areas of learning:

- Mathematics
- Language Arts
- Science
- Social Science
- Visual and Performing Arts

The California Department of Education content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level.
