The home is at the heart of every family and it is no different in Pretend City. Our Home will reflect the diversity of Orange County and will showcase elements of many of the interesting cultures in our community. Three times each year, the interior of the Pretend City Our Home exhibit will completely change to reflect the real lives of a featured Orange County family. Our exhibit will showcase the family”s customs, decor, rituals, celebrations, food, and even their challenges and successes.
The following are some of the activities which will support brain developing connections and California State Educational Content Standards that are addressed at Our Home.
