February is the most popular time of the year to give flowers to the one you love, but why give flowers for a week when you can plant flowers to last you all year long. Today’s activity will not only go over the life cycle of flowers and plants, but will also show you how to be green by planting your very own flowers. Using terracotta flower pots, your child will be able to creatively express their love while staying green!
Play Partner: Pretendgineers and BrainBuilders; our experienced stage staff of trained early childhood and development educators.
Grown-up Tip: Show your flower garden some love! Make your own organic compost from vegetable and fruit peels, egg shells, coffee grounds, and produce past its prime. Encourage your child to be the kitchen leader in collecting these items for your flower garden.
RSVP: Not required
Fee: Included with certain Pretend City Memberships to learn more visit here.
