Discover the power of speech as we learn new words and their meanings! You won’t want to miss it!
Play Partner (Facilitator): PBS’s Martha Speaks will be here in person!
Grown-up tip: Martha Speaks is part of PBS KIDS Raising Readers and focuses on helping children learn to read. Learning the skills to read and write comes long before children enter school. Developing literacy skills begins at birth, through everyday interactions like sharing books, telling stories, singing songs, talking to one another, or pointing out and naming objects. Learn more about how Pretend City’s child development initiative, Good To Go From Head To Toe, helps you better understand your child’s development.
