A birthday party at Pretend City Children’s Museum will create lasting memories that your little ones will be talking about for years to come. Plan your next birthday celebration at Pretend City, where birthday wishes really do come true!

Your special birthday boy or girl and their party friends can explore 15,000 square feet of interactive, exhibits including a marina where they can chart sailing courses, a café where they can prepare their favorite foods, an amphitheater where they can be a rockstar and much, much more.

In addition to our birthday party package, you can add a variety of options to customize your party experience.

Pretend City Birthday Party Packages:

Standard Birthday Party Package

Cost $385

• Private party room for 1 hour beginning at 10am, 12pm or 2pm.
• Unlimited time in the museum until closing following time in private party room.
• Museum admission for up to 30 guests (including both children and adults). Any guests above the 30 included in your package are an additional $10 per guest.
• Birthday Party Child is complimentary.
• Tables, chairs, sink with running water and refrigerator/freezer provided.
• Two Pretend City party hosts to facilitate the party room set-up, service and clean-up.
• One return pass for all party children.

Day at the Beach

Cost: $550

In addition to standard birthday party amenities it also includes:

• Goody bags for 20 children
• Beach themed activity for 20 children
• Tableware (includes tablecloths, silverware, plates and cups for 30 guests)

$675 to include birthday cake

Out on the Farm

Cost: $550

In addition to standard birthday party amenities it also includes:

• Goody bags for 20 children
• Farm themed activity for 20 children
• Tableware (includes tablecloths, silverware, plates and cups for 30 guests)

Early Riser Package

Cost: $650

In addition to standard birthday party amenities it also includes:

• Donutpops for party guests (4 dozen)
• Goody bags for 20 children
• Hat activity for 20 children ($3 for additional children)
• Tableware (includes tablecloths, silverware, plates and cups for 30 guests)

All Members of Pretend City receive a 10% discount on all birthday party packages!

Additional Amenities & FAQs

Additional Amenities:

• Juice boxes @ $2.00 per child.
• Tableware (disposable tablecloths, plates, napkins, cutlery and cups) @ $3.00 per guest.
• Staff led activity @ $3.00 per child.
• Pretend City Themed Goodie Bags @ $5.00 each.
• Pretend City Themed Cake @ $125.00 (feeds up to 40 guests).

FAQs:

• Party Host may bring in outside food and non-alcoholic beverages into the private party room.
• Children 12 months and younger are complimentary.
• Birthday party reservations may be scheduled up to six months in advance and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance of the party date.
• Party room set-up is permitted 30 minutes prior to the start of the party.
• Room size restrictions may necessitate limiting the number of guests allowed in the private party room.
• Reservations are made with a $150 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit and fully executed contract.
• Final minimum guaranteed guest count and payment is due 7 days prior to the scheduled birthday party.
• Additional guests may be added for $10 per person.
• Pretend City requires a ratio of at least 1 adult for every 5 children.
• Mid-week discount – Pretend City offers a discount of $50.00 off the package price for Birthday Parties held between Tuesday through Friday.
